Preview BOOK REPORT

I'm preparing a book report about the book "Oliver Twist" by "Charles Dickens. I chose this book because i think it is a book you should have read.

In this posting I would like to give you a little preview what the book is about. I hope you'll get interested and read it. I think it is dead good.


Author:
Charles Dickens was born on 7th February 1812, in Landport, Porthmouth, in Hampshire. At the age of 5 Charles Dickens and his family moved to Canthem in Kent.
In 1831 Dickens started working as a jounalist for the newspaper "True Sun", but after this he was a jounalist for "Morning Chronicles". In 1837 "Oliver Twist", the book of my book report was published.

It's the second novel of Charles Dickens. It is also called "The Parish Boy's Progress". The book was originally published in Bentley's Miscenally.

The book:

The story of the orphan Oliver, with his unknown parents. He grow up in the workhouse under the hard regiment of the egoistic Mr. Bumble. He starts a apprenticeship by a funeral director. After some time he escapes without any money, because he wants to have a new beginning in London. There are some guys who want that Oliver starts a career as a thief.
