In Langenstein there are about 2800 inhabitants. Longstone lies on the northern side of the Danube in the Mühlviertel. It is in the district of Perg and next to Mauthausen. You can only go to Langenstein by bus or by taxi. It is on 245 m altitude and it covers 4, 85 ha. The mayor is Ernst Hutsteiner and he is a member of the Social Democrats.
We have a kindergarten, a primary school and a special school. After the primary school, one part of the kids have to go to the secondary school in St. Georgen/Gusen and the other kids have to go to the secondary school in Mauthausen.

If I were a politician I would like to have more activity places for the youth and we also need more shops because we only have one shop where you can buy a lot of things but nothing to eat. So that's what I miss in my community.
